Investment in Cameroon

We provided legal assistance to one of the largest global development institutions regarding a proposed investment in an integrated logistics company in Cameroon, Chad, and the Central African Republic. Our scope of work included performing legal due diligence on the Borrower, Co-Borrowers, and Guarantors, providing advice on corporate benefit, reviewing English Law governed financing documents, drafting OHADA law security documents (pledges over assets and shares), reviewing assignment of insurance proceeds, issuing local law capacity and enforceability opinions, and coordinating with English law counsel.
